We are excited to announce the launch of the beta version of the Highlander Card Database for the 2nd Edition! Our team has dedicated countless hours to create this invaluable tool, and we can't wait to share it with all of you. The end goal is to have a well designed and comprehensive resource for players to find cards faster and build better decks!

What to Expect at Launch

At Beta launch, we will be testing the functionality of the database and getting feedback from players about getter ways to search for cards. While in the Beta phase, images and errata will be missing or incomplete. The next step of the roadmap is to get all errata text up with the accompanying images.

Right now there is about 500 images—excluding errata images—offering players a visual reference for many cards. To enhance usability, we will upload gridded card images for blocks, attacks, and dodged actions in the coming weeks. This means players won’t just read about a card; they can also see how it looks, making it easier to identify during gameplay.

Roadmap for Future Updates

Looking ahead, we've set ambitious goals for the Highlander Card Database. We aim to make it the ultimate resource for players. This includes expanding our image collection to cover all cards currently in print. Research shows that visual aids improve retention and understanding, so we're committed to enhancing the database further.

We also plan to improve the user interface, making navigation simple. Features like an advanced search function and intuitive categories will help players find what they need quickly. There are currently two advanced search options for power users deck building.

As we develop new features, we will keep the community updated about our progress. Your insights are invaluable, and we encourage you to report any bugs or issues that may arise while using the beta version.
