One of the biggest shifts coming with Highlander 2nd Edition: Revamped is how we handle errata. This update goes hand in hand with the release of the Version 3.0 Rulebook. Just as the rulebook has been overhauled to clarify long-standing mechanics and unify gameplay, the errata packs ensure that the cards themselves reflect that same clarity. Together, the
Historically, Highlander issued errata only in the rulebook — never as actual printed cards. If you wanted to play with the corrected version, you had to keep the rulebook handy or memorize the changes. That ends today.
For the first time in Highlander’s history, all errata cards have been fully updated with new images you can purchase, download, or proxy. Whether you’re a collector, a competitive player, or someone who just wants clarity at the table, you’ll finally have physical cards that reflect the official text.
If you don't want to have the physical cards, you can use the digital images as well. We find this to be a much better option when you're mid-game than a sprawling text document.

Why so many updated cards?
Power Creep Adjustments - Earlier Immortals sometimes fell behind newer releases. With 2E Revamped, we’ve used errata not only to rein in problem cards but also to boost underpowered Immortals from the earliest 2E sets. This helps balance the game across its full history.
Standardized Wordings - Over the years, multiple versions of the same card (for example, generic Darius Event ended up with slightly different text depending on which set they were printed in. This created needless confusion during gameplay. Errata now unifies those wordings so every copy of a card works exactly the same way.
Gameplay Clarity - Many of the changes are simply about consistency. Standardized phrases, cleaner templating, and clarified timing windows make it easier to learn and play without needing to argue about edge cases.
Crunching the Numbers
Highlander 2E has around 5,500 total cards. Of those, about 500 received errata — a large number, but still only a fraction of the overall card pool. The vast majority of cards remain unchanged and now with the release of 2E Revamped, players can expect much more streamlined gameplay.
Modernized TCG System
Just like Methos said, "Imitation is the sincerest form of flattery." We looked at other modern TCG systems (one that rhymes with Tragic) and couldn't help but notice they treat the game as a living system with regular updates. If a card needs to be rebalanced — weaker, stronger, or just clearer — it gets a revision. Highlander 2E Revamped adopts this philosophy. Errata is no longer a burden buried in a rulebook, but a tool to keep the game healthy, balanced, and accessible.
Errata Update: Moving to the Card Database
In the past, Highlander errata were published as a PDF buried in the Rule Book. That made them harder to find, harder to reference, and not always up to date. With the launch of the new searchable Card Database, we’re streamlining everything: from now on, all errata will live in the Database, not the Rule Book.
To make things even easier, there’s now a dedicated Errata filter tag—so you can sort and view only the cards that have been updated.
OUR END GOALS
We’re building toward three main goals for errata management:
Every errata’d card will have its updated image and text available in the Card Database.
A downloadable repository of all errata’d card images will be maintained, so you can view or print them at home.
You’ll have a fast, reliable way to order official errata packs directly from MPC.
WHERE WE'RE AT TODAY
This is a massive undertaking, but here’s what’s available right now:
You can access every current errata in this Google Drive folder.
Every errata'd card has been added to the Card Database. You can filter results by errata only which is super helpful when you're building decks.
Please note: the images in the Google Drive are not formatted for MPC—they’re intended as references or for personal at-home printing. The finalized MPC-ready images will come later as we work on a way to make ordering from MPC faster and easier.
