Born in 1567 in Stockholm, Axel was always a womanizer. He was shot and killed by a minister for seducing his daughter in 1601, and was soon found by Bjorn Gustavson and taught the rules of the Game. Over the years he has found newly immortaled women and used them as bait to lure unsuspecting male immortals to their doom. When the ladies outlive their usefulness (or he becomes bored of them), he takes their head and looks for his newest conquest.
You may only include this card in your Pregame if you are using the Axel Whitaker Persona. You begin the game with +1 Ability. Your Generic Master Cards and Persona Specific Master Cards for the Persona you are playing as cannot be countered or removed from the game by your opponent

The Spanish Long Sword is a Variation on the Hand and a Half Sword. It is weighted well enough to use with one hand, but can be used with two hands for added power or to block a heavy attack. Too heavy to use as a sidearm, this sword was used mostly in military operations, where armor would likely be encountered. Immortals favoring this weapon do so because they gain power without sacrificing speed the way a Great Sword does.
UPSIDE: Once per turn, if you make a Hard Exertion from your Endurance for an attack, and if that attack can be a Power Blow, it is a Power Blow.
DOWNSIDE: You may not play dodges that cover fewer than nine grids.

Talia was born in Paris in 1662. Her upbringing was a poor one which created her animosity of the rich in general. She lead many of France's bloody revolutions against the aristocrats. She suffered her first death after being violated in 1693. Her first teacher was Pierre Segur. However, her shifting loyalities and bitterness forced them to part ways. Through time, she has lost direction, and would do anything to not have to live a life of poverty again, regardless of who she had to step on or eliminate.

The French word "Epee" is derived from the Latin term Spatha, which referred to a long, straight sword. The Epee is a sport fencing weapon that replaced the Rapier as a dueling weapon in society in the late 17th century. Sport Fencing using the Epee calls for a different approach, as the entire body can be targeted. This style teaches the fencer to be concentrated on his opponent's moves to make their own anticipated strikes.
UPSIDE: When Exerting for an attack, you may Exert one card at a time, and stop the Exertion when you find a legal attack and play it.
DOWNSIDE: Your Hard Exertions for a defense are reduced by two.
