Michael Kent Bio
Michael Kent, a Kansas area farmer, became immortal in 1911 after a tragic accident with a threshing machine. When he first died, Kent was just a struggling farmer, but over the years, he worked relentlessly to shed that humble image. He transformed into a highly educated, accomplished man. Drawn to the business world, Kent had little interest in the activities of other immortals or their so-called Game. Still, his wealth allowed him to seek out the best training and sword money could buy should he ever need to duel another Immortal.
Kent's weapon was a katana, but not just any Katana. The katana was crafted by Muramasa at the end of Japan's Momoyana Period and given to a samurai of the Koto family. It was used by Duncan in 1778 during his time training in kenjutsu under Hideo Koto. According to Kent, the sword cut through five condemned men during its initial test, with the results recorded on the tang.
Slash your way to victory
Each game against Michael Kent will be an ongoing fight over Midori, the apple of Kent's eye.
Midori introduces the Double Diamond mechanic to the game. Make sure to learn all about it in the upcoming rules update that will be sent out with Kent's set.
Explore new ways to use a slash-themed deck and build an efficient engine that should often land damage on your opponent.
Pair Michael Kent with his custom Katana - The Muramasa - and slashes become even more deadly.
While Kent was designed to work well with slash-based decks, there are plenty of other directions you can take him.
