Regular versus sets for Highlander the card game have historically come with 2 immortals, basic attacks, basic blocks, and maybe one or two highly useable generic cards.
This is a highly curated deck giving you access to rare promo attacks, promo blocks, sought after generic cards and intermediate to advanced deck design concepts and Pregame cards like Crystals, Amergans, and Gathering Gets. We also included reprints of extremely rare 3rd Edition cards like Promo Alertness, Sacrifice and Bait & Switch, but with new images and white borders.
Connor MacLeod was born in A.D. 1508 in Glenfinnan, and was a warrior for the Clan MacLeod. Connor was taught and trained by the incomparable Juan Sanchez Ramirez after he first became an Immortal. Connor sought out the training of the Sorcerer Nakano after leaving Scotland after the death of his beloved Rachel.
The elder MacLeod is a serious player of the Immortal Game, and a good one. He respects its rules and nuances, and is always calculating, staying one step ahead of his opponents. Although he occasionally will let out a smile or his trademark staccato laugh slip out, unlike his younger kinsman, Connor keeps most of his thoughts and feelings very much to himself.
Connor finds himself head hunting in Seacouver in 1992 after overcoming the Kurgan's dark quickening when he runs into an old friend and Slan Quince.

Slan Quince was born in the United States in 1787 in New York. He was the only adopted child of a skilled blacksmith, from whom he was taught the craft. Slan met his first death in 1812 during the War of 1812 when a ship he was on was sunk by the British.
Slan learned the Rules of the Game from his teacher, Patrick Stanze, living the first half of his new life as a blacksmith, like his father. After a run in with a head hunting immortal, Slan realized it was kill or be killed so he began to hunt other immortals, even making his own customized great sword with a projectile hidden in the hilt to give him an advantage.
Over the years Slan began to take pleasure in hunting not only other immortals, but also their close friends and loved ones, playing cat and mouse with his targets. He became known as "Slan the Cat."
